PROGRAM ACTIVITIES (September - June)
Program activities is a summary or your child's daily schedule during his or her day at school. Times may vary slightly from time to time. Summer schedule differs.

Group snack

Group time inside includes presentation of materials, discussion of events, calendar, weather, discussion of the day's events, units of study.

Work time. The children are dismissed to do work that they have selected. At this time, the teachers give individual or group lessons and assistance. There are different goals for each child. Areas of study are practical life, snack sensorial, math, language, geography, science and art.

Group time. Stories, games, music and movement activities.

| 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm |
Lunch and outside time.

| 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm |
Nap time. Children may or may not need naps. Those who nap will, and those who do not will use this as a quiet time using art materials, listening to stories or other outdoor activities.

Kindergarten program in session. Units of study in geography, science and cultural information. A data-based tool skill program will be implemented, whole language, workbooks, journals, reading, writing, drama and first grade readiness activities will be offered.

Kindergarten dismissal.

Childcare. Relaxation, games, stories, art, role playing. |
