The Friends of Hopper Creek Parent Committee is Hopper Creek’s “Parent Club”. Every parent is automatically a member—there is no sign-up required and no fees are associated with the group. Our primary purpose is to oversee fundraising and various other support activities for the school so that Carol and her staff can dedicate their time to teaching and taking care of our children.   

Each year, Hopper Creek’s tuition income must be supplemented by fundraising. Regular tuition goes to cover the basics of running the school: classroom materials, rent, teacher salaries, etc. Additional supplies, special activities and targeted maintenance projects happen as a result of our fundraising and volunteered time.

In addition to fundraising, the Parent Committee creates a web of daily support in other ways: helping to organize and supply healthy mid-morning snacks, keeping up the website, creating a stronger parent community through shared resources and workshops, and working to improve everyday parent-teacher communication.

There are so many important ways—big and small—that each family can contribute and all are equally vital to our success.  We encourage your family to not ask “if” you’ll participate, but “how,” and we look forward to growing alongside your family in the years to come.
