Ages: 2-3 | 3, 4 or 5 days per week
Hopper Creek offers a nurturing and loving program for children between the ages of two and three. Parents have the option of choosing three to five mornings a week. Class size ranges from six to twelve children with two qualified teachers who meet the children's needs on a daily basis. Classroom curriculum is age-appropriate emphasizing problem solving, learning to use their language skills, expressing their feelings and learning to become a part of a classroom environment. Areas of interest include Practical Life, Sensorial, Art and imaginative play. Colors, counting, shapes and numbers are introduced when the children show an individual interest. Children need not be potty trained to attend Hopper Creek.

Ages: 3-6 | 4 or 5 days per week
The Pre-K program offers a Montessori environment designed to meet the needs of children three through six years of age. There are two Montessori-trained teacher/directors and one aide to assist in the Pre-K program. Each child has the opportunity to learn at his/her own pace. Parents have the option of choosing a four or five day a week program. Classroom curriculum includes Practical Life, Sensorial, Science, Handwriting, Art, Geography, Math and Language. Our philosophy is to guide each child through the process of loving to learn, being part of a family group, accepting responsibility for their own choices and independence. Respect for each other and the materials are pivotal for achieving good self-esteem.

Ages: 5-6, or when ready | 5 days per week
The Kindergarten program at Hopper Creek is like non-other! Children attend five mornings per week and three afternoons. Within this framework children have the opportunity to explore the depths of the Montessori classroom with all of its choices and socialization advantages in the morning, with the afternoon preparing the child for his/her next leap into the public or private sector of schooling. The program offers a tool-skill based program which helps the child to connect the eye, hand and mouth process. Each activity is timed and data-based which ensures fluency in each activity at the child's own pace. This method coupled with the Montessori approach is a marriage made in heaven. The students are introduced to workbooks, reading, writing, math and units of study which enhance their already full day of loving to learn.

Ages: 5-6, or when ready | 2 days per week
Second languages are vital in today's society. Hopper Creek offers a Spanish Immersion program for four, five and six year olds on Monday and Friday afternoons. The Spanish language is taught by one of our own bi-lingual teachers who specializes in art, games, writing, group and individual teaching. This program is an option for those children in the Kindergarten program.

Ages: 3-6, or when ready | Tues, Wed, Thurs
Hopper Creek now offers an enrichment program for children attending school on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. The program will consist of hand-eye activities such as tracing their names, numbers, shapes and objects. The children will be exposed to individualized workbooks, music, art, story time and play time. Plus, Mondays and Fridays will be a time for play, puppets, art and lots of toys!

All Ages | 3, 4 or 5 days per week
Hopper Creek specializes in a full-day program for children of all ages. Our full-time schedule begins at 7:45 to 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Our child care program emphasizes warmth, play, using one's imagination, art and music, some computer time using age appropriate material and, on rainy days, quality and educational movies may be viewed. The child care staff focuses on holding, loving, reading and playing with the children during these hours, leaving enough room for independence and relaxation.

All Ages | 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week
Hopper Creek Montessori School's summer program runs during the months of July and August. Parents have the option of choosing the schedule that works best for them and their child during these two months. Our goal is to remain as flexible as we can for parents during this time. Curriculum is geared to the outside environment during the a.m. hours and toward both indoor and outdoor activities for the p.m. hours. Each day of the week has focuses in art, cooking, movement, water-play, music, physical education and intermixes these activities with a "geared down" Montessori environment. Our goal is to have as much fun as we can getting wet, eating pancakes and being creative in the arts.
